A humiliated man, hauled from office while in hospital by what his allies have termed as betrayal by those he trusted. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua seems to be a bitter lonely man now, a once vibrant Mulima defender is no longer in office. Well, according to the latest information, he has taken an action on him being removed from office.
Rigathi Gachagua and his lawyers have moved to court to stop the impeachment by the Senate. According to the reports, they will be seeking to stop any person from occupying the office until the matter is heard and determined by the courts.
President William Ruto has officially nominated Professor Kithure Kindiki as the new Deputy President of the republic of Kenya. His name has been forwarded to the national Assembly for consideration and if approved, he will become the third deputy President of the republic of Kenya under a new constitution.
Kenyans are waiting to see what will happen going forward and especially if the Courts will stop the appointment of Kindiki or not. It is a very delicate test for the judiciary of Kenya and Kenyans hope they will stand the test of time.
President William Ruto will have to forward a new name for the interior docket. This is because, Kindiki is the serving cabinet Secretary for interior and government coordination.
