Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna left mourners talking after he publicly clashed with his party leaders on various Issues.
According to the other ODM party leaders who spoke. They insisted that the party would stay in the government where Raila Odinga left them. Well, that seems not to be sitting well with Sifuna who publicly called them out.

According to Edwin Sifuna, Raila Odinga never said the ODM party should be In the broad based government until the 2027 general election. He asked them to prepare for the general election.
Sifuna’s Remarks have elicited mixed reactions online with a section of Kenyans praising him for being bold in making such Speech and not bowing to pressure of what people say.
I stand here today to say the truth. Our party leader the late Honorable Raila Odinga did not say we should remain in the broad based government. He said he will give the direction on what happens next. Unfortunately, he did not manage to give us that direction. We will therefore not stand here and lie to Kenyans with what Odinga did not say.” Said Edwin Sifuna.
