Video: Natembeya’s Attack On Ruto Lands Him In Trouble Again As He Is Blocked From Continuing With Speech
Drama in Trans Nzoia as Governor Natembeya Blocked Mid-Speech After Attacking President Ruto
TRANS NZOIA, KENYA — Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya found himself at the center of political turmoil once again after he was abruptly cut off while delivering a speech at a burial in Sango village, Kiminini constituency.
The solemn send-off for the late veteran diplomat Ambassador Burudi Nabwera degenerated into chaos after Natembeya used the platform to launch a scathing attack against President William Ruto.
In a video clip circulating widely across social media platforms, the governor was seen directly accusing the Head of State of overstepping administrative boundaries.
Natembeya claimed it was improper for the President to visit Trans Nzoia to launch or commission development projects that fall strictly under the jurisdiction of the county government.
